Costa Rica Airport Transfers to an Airbnb or Villa: How to Book
Staying at an Airbnb, villa or vacation rental in Costa Rica? You can book a private airport transfer even when your property does not appear by name in the reservation form. The important details are the correct airport, destination city and exact property location.
Ozzy Transportation provides private transfers throughout Costa Rica, including Liberia Airport (LIR) and San José Airport (SJO). For another airport or a route you cannot find in the booking form, contact us with your itinerary.
1. Choose your arrival airport and destination
Use the airport on your flight itinerary and check your arrival date. Search for your hotel, rental or destination city in the booking form. Ask your host for the property's town or city and a Google Maps pin before choosing a location with a similar name.
2. If your Airbnb or villa does not appear
Select the correct town or a recognized hotel or location in the same destination city as your rental. Continue through the reservation form and enter your full property details in the Notes section.
A hotel and an Airbnb in the same city have the same transfer price. For example, if your destination is Playa Hermosa, staying at an Airbnb in Playa Hermosa instead of a hotel there does not change the transfer price for the same airport route and booking options.
If your rental is outside the selected city, or you are unsure which destination to choose, send us the map pin to confirm the route and price. A nearby town name alone should not replace your exact destination details.
3. Put these details in Notes
- Property or villa name, if available.
- Full address, including the town or city.
- Google Maps link or pin for the actual entrance.
- Gate, building or unit details and any helpful access directions from your host.
You can use this format:
Destination: [property name], [town/city].
Exact address: [complete address].
Google Maps: [link to the entrance].
Access instructions: [gate, unit or host directions].
Our team reviews the location details so the driver receives the correct destination. If you do not yet have the exact address, contact us for help before finalizing your destination choice.
4. Check the rest of your reservation
Add the flight arriving at your pickup airport, the travel date, passenger count and luggage details. Child seats and booster seats are available as reservation add-ons; select what you need when booking.

For a return airport transfer, provide the rental's exact pickup location and your departure flight details as well. Review the route, booking options and displayed price before submitting.
